We have more independent outside directors than is required, with 11 out of 12 independents on our board, or 92 percent.
In 2009, Weyerhaeuser was named one of the "World's Most Ethical Companies" by the Ethisphere Institute. This third annual list from the institute features 99 companies across 35 industries. International Paper, Stora Enso and Svenska Cellulosa were also listed in the Forestry, Paper and Packaging industry category.
